Black Angus Cow
Born 2010-2013?
June is one of our older girls, and is one of the first who will be replaced. She's a calmer cow and is very respectful when it comes to boundaries. She isn't one that will allow pets but also doesn't freak out when you walk past her. She is the one who lost her 2024 bull calf early on. Not 100% sure what happened but he wasn't the strongest and she wasn't making it easy on him either.

Maya is another one of our old girls, and is struggling to keep weight on her. She has the same temperment as June with a repsectful distance between humans. However she is a "bully" amongst her herd, making her rule the roost.
Basil : 8

Basil is out third older girl. She's one of our smaller cows but she is hands down the prettiest when it comes to body type. Her downfall is she wants nothing to do with people. She has never charged us but I also wouldn't put it past her either.
Marvel : 106

Marvel is our dopey and in your pocket cow. Makes sense when you look back at what her intended purpose was. She was supposed to be a show heifer but she didn't quiet mee the mark with her body type. She's pretty but nothing outstanding. She produces some of the quickest growth rate calves I have seen in a long time. Her 2024 calf was 994 lbs at 8 months old!

Kettle is a bully when it comes to people. Not out of aggression but she wants her extra treats. She'll allow pets along as food is involved. She's our youngest but still haven't figured out the whole mother ability often leaving her calf behind or with other mommas.
Monroe : MONROE

Monroe is a show heifer that we thought would make a great cow here with us. She and Luna-Moon were raised together and will now live with us for a very long time. Monroe is halter broke but a little more shy than her friend but that's okay we are still learning each other!
Luna-Moon : Luna
Luna is the sweetest and fuzziest girl and was quick to win my heart. She was brought here with Monroe and was a show heifer. So she's halter broke! This girl is super playful and loves attention!

Magnolia is out of my favorite old girl Basil and Poker. She is the first heifer calf we will be keeping back. She will be replacing on the the older girls once she comes of breeding age and size. I have grown quite fond of this girl who occasionally lets me love on her!
Nova : 106 (will be 2)
Nova is out of our second favorite cow Marvel and Poker. She's an absolute stunning calf and the second heifer to be born and kept by us. Super happy to keep such good genetics in our herd. She's be replacing on of the older girls.

Poker is a black baldie bull who is an absolute jerk. We are looking to have him replaced this year! The only reason he has been kept is because he throws some gorgeous low-birth weight babies and most don't develop his attitude.
